What are you doing in m' Swamp

I tried. Scenes are no strong point for me. Nope. But, I digress. You never get better unless you try, right?

Not sure if I like lineless backgrounds or not. And I did this all on one layer because I guess I like to torture myself.

How does one achieve lighting....
